Plasters, Compounds & Adhesives

A range of products specially designed to meet all your plasterboard and interior wall and ceiling fixing needs. With continuous development over the years to keep change with changing requirements, these products give plasterers the quality and versatility needed to achieve a smooth flat surface ready for decoration.





  • Jointing Compounds

  • The leading gypsum-based setting products designed for taping and basecoating plasterboard joints and angles. Possessing superior joint filling characteristics with smooth flow under trowel and through machine, both offer a strong and durable bond and low shrinkage. BaseCote 45 has a working time of approximately 45 minutes. BaseCote 60 has a working time of approximately 60 minutes. Basecote 90 has a working time of approximately 90 minutes.

  • Finishing Compounds

  • Recognised by the trade as the premium air drying compounds designed for use as a finishing coat over taping and base coats. Products are pre-mixed for immediate use and are designed for hand trowel or machine application. FinalCote is a premium semi-lightweight formulation, TopCote 550 is a premium heavy-bodied formulation and both offer easy sanding to give a smooth finish.

  • Plaster Adhesives

  • Gypsum-based adhesives designed to fix plain and decorative cornices to plasterboard walls and ceilings. With superior initial tack, excellent finishing qualities and durable bond, cornice fixing is a simple task. Cornice Adhesive 45 has a working time of approximately 45 minutes. Cornice Adhesive 60 has a working time of approximately 60 minutes

  • All Purpose Compounds

  • All Purpose Pre Mix and All Purpose Dry Mix are air drying, vinyl based compounds which can be used as a three coat wall jointing system with paper tape. Alternatively they can be used as a second and/or finishing coat over gypsum jointing compounds. All Purpose Pre Mix removes the need for time consuming preparation, while All Purpose Dry Mix allows the user to mix to a preferred consistency. All Purpose Plaster is a lightweight, high strength, softer sanding gypsum setting base with a working time of around 50 minutes.

  • Wet Area Compounds

  • The complete acrylic system for jointing and sealing wet area plasterboard in residential buildings. Ready mixed for immediate use, these products conform to the requirements of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standard 3740. Wet Area Taping Cement is designed for use with reinforcing tape in joints and angles and as a thin coat over other areas. It is packaged in 1.75 kg and 6.4 kg pails. Wet Area Sealant is a flexible gap sealant which compensates for joint movement. It is packaged in 450 g cartridges. Wet Area SealCote is a water resistant coating which gives additional protection against moisture in wet areas. Packaged in 1 litre and 4 litre pails./li>

  • Stud Adhesives

  • The leaders in acrylic adhesives for fast fixing of plasterboard to timber and metal studs. The superior formula prevents skinning in the heat and thickening in the cold. The tough flexible bond resists cracking and compensates for minor frame irregularities. Packaged in 5.2 kg pails.

  • Finishing Compound - BoxCote™

  • BoxCote™ finishing compound is a pre-mixed, air-drying, finishing compound, developed specially for application through mechanical tools (i.e. boxes) and mechanical sanding. A creamy, medium softness compound, it is also suitable for hand tool application and hand sanding.
  • BoxCote™ provides a superior finishing coat for all plasterboard joints, angles, and fastener heads, when used in conjunction with Boral Plasterboard's base jointing compounds. It is designed to deliver a smooth surface, free of imperfections, and to avoid scratching upon mechanical sanding.

  • Gypsum setting compounds designed to Specially formulated gypsum based plasters for use in the ceramic and dental industries. These products offer a range of properties and performance well suited to the needs of specific industrial product applications and processes. Boral Industrial Plasters cover the widest range of applications on the market.

  • Ceraplast 70
  • Contains a small quantity of alpha plaster for increased strength. Suitable for slip casting, roller mills and jiggering applications. Packaged in 20 kg bags.

  • Casting Plaster
  • A general purpose plaster ideally suited for the production of fibre reinforced cornice sections, cast panels, tiles, ceiling roses, statuary, giftware articles and models. Packaged in 20 kg bags.

  • Pottery Plaster
  • Fine specialist plaster designed for use in casting of moulds for ceramic products and plaster-craft replications. Ideal for slip casting of sanitary ware and statuary, and for the manufacture of compression moulds used in slab casting of tableware. Packaged in 20 kg bags

  • Spray Plaster
  • A retarded plaster used with materials such as vermiculite and spray applied to give textured ceiling finishes or fire protection to steel structures. Packaged in 20 kg bags

  • Dental Plaster
  • A general purpose dental plaster used mainly for flashing and mounting dental moulds. Packaged in 20 kg bags.

  • Plaster - Hard Finish

  • Gypsum setting compounds designed to be mixed with lime to give a smooth and durable internal finish over a rendered background. They are free from inherent shrinkage and cracking and set to a hard, white and blemish free surface. The hardest skim coat plaster on the market.

  • Not Available
