Our Plasterboard Range
Plasterboard is the most widely used wall and ceiling lining material in Australia. Made in a continuous manufacturing process, plasterboard consists of a gypsum core encased in a heavy-duty paper liner. Boral manufactures many types and sizes of plasterboard to suit a variety of applications.
ENVIRO Plasterboard
- ENVIRO Regular is 13mm thick plasterboard with a recessed edge profile. ENVIRO Regular plasterboard is used where fire-resistance ratings are not required. It is GECA certified and may contribute to Green Star credit points.

Plasterboard - Flexiboard®
- This 6.5mm thick plasterboard is used to construct curved walls, arches, ceiling and feature panels with ease. Applied to timber, steel or masonry substructures, Flexiboard® produces a smooth flush finish when jointed, with a superior surface that accepts a wide range of decorative finishes.

Plasterboard - Standard Core
- By far the most popular interior lining product used in domestic and commercial construction today. Available in 10mm and 13mm thicknesses, with either recessed or square edge profiles, Standard Core plasterboard is used where fire-resistance ratings are not required.

Plasterboard - Unispan
- Unispan is 10mm thick plasterboard used as a ceiling lining where framing members are spaced at up to 600mm centres. With its superior anti-sag performance, Unispan™ provides an easy to install, lightweight alternative to 13mm plasterboard lining.

Plasterboard - Wet Area Plasterboard
- Moisture resistant Wet Area Plasterboard is used for lining of wet areas in bathrooms, shower recesses, laundries and toilets. Available in 10mm and 13mm thicknesses with recessed edges, Wet Area Plasterboard must be installed in accordance with Boral Plasterboard instructions in order to satisfy regulatory requirements.

Plasterboard - Firestop
- Boral Firestop Plasterboard must be used in partition wall and ceiling systems where specific fire-resistance ratings are required. Firestop features a specially formulated fire-resistant core, recessed edges, and is available in 13mm and 16mm thicknesses.

Plasterboard - Wet Area Firestop
- Wet Area Firestop plasterboard was developed specifically for use in wet area fire-rated partition systems. Wet Area Firestop plasterboard is available in 13mm and 16mm thicknesses with recessed edges and is largely used in commercial construction

Plasterboard - Soundstop®
- Soundstop plasterboard was specifically developed for use in high-performance acoustic wall and ceiling systems not requiring fire-rating.
- > 10mm Soundstop® plasterboard is used in residential systems such as Quiet Living® and a selection of commercial systems.
- > 13mm ENVIRO Soundstop® is GECA accredited and may contribute to Green Star credit points. It provides increased levels of sound isolation for noise critical domestic applications such as NeighbourZone® and CinemaZone®, separating wall systems such as IntRwall® and Partiwall ® , and other proprietary systems.

Plasterboard - Shaftliner
- Shaftliner is 25mm thick fire-rated plasterboard used in Partiwall®, Eurekawall® and Shaft Wall systems. Shaftliner® panels have bevelled edges and are produced in 600mm width and lengths up to 3.6m.

Plasterboard - Echostop ®,
- Sound absorptive plasterboard with recessed edges available with either square or round perforations. Used as ceiling or wall lining where sound absorption is required.

Plasterboard - Impactstop
- Boral Impactstopis high density plasterboard which has the sound insulation performance equivalent to 13mm Soundstop® and the fire performance equivalent to 13mm Firestop®. It is recommended for use in high traffic areas such as Educational Facilities and Hospitals.
