Common Questions

FAQs about Steel Framing Supply for Queensland Projects

What is included in steel wall and ceiling framing systems?

Depending on the application, the system may include studs, tracks, furring channels, top hats, battens, clips and related accessories.

How do I choose the right gauge and profile?

For non-loadbearing partitions, 0.55mm TC studs and tracks are standard. Medium-duty applications (taller walls, heavier board weights) use 0.75mm TC. Structural applications require 1.2mm gauge or higher. We stock Rondo and Knauf Drywall Systems framing in stud depths from 64mm to 150mm. Share your span, floor-to-ceiling height, and lining system and we can guide you to the right gauge and profile.

Do you supply framing alongside boards and fixings?

Yes. Many customers order framing, boards and accessories together to keep staging and compatibility simple.

Can you help with quantities from plans?

Yes. If you send drawings, BOQs or basic measurements, we can help build a practical materials list.

Do you deliver long lengths safely to site?

Yes. We plan drops to reduce damage and work around site access constraints where possible.

What if a substitution is needed?

If availability changes, we can suggest suitable alternatives and help keep the system consistent.
